Students attend the same confirmed time block throughout the four-week course.

Class times are scheduled based on enrollment. A time block must meet the minimum enrollment requirement before it is confirmed.

Student Requirements

Students need:

• A smartphone, tablet, or computer
• Reliable internet access
• A working microphone
• Working speakers or headphones
• The ability to play course audio
• The ability to record short voice responses
• A valid email address
• A complete U.S. mailing address
• Basic English reading ability
• Time to attend the selected class block
• Time to complete assigned practice

Students are responsible for testing their device, internet connection, microphone, camera when required, and audio before the first class.

Technical problems on the student’s device do not automatically qualify the student for a refund.

Attendance and Completion Requirements

To receive a Certificate of Course Completion, students must:

• Attend at least 10 of the 12 live sessions
• Complete required make-up work for approved absences
• Complete assigned lessons
• Submit required speaking assignments
• Complete weekly checks
• Participate in the final course communication assessment
• Meet the minimum overall course grade
• Follow the course conduct and academic-integrity requirements

Attending class alone does not guarantee successful completion.

The Certificate of Course Completion confirms completion of this supplemental English course. It is not CNA certification, licensure, registry status, or proof of completion of a state-approved nurse aide program.

Class Size and Minimum Enrollment

Each classroom is limited to protect the quality of:

• Speaking practice
• Student participation
• Instructor correction
• Individual feedback
• Role-play activities
• Final assessment administration

Each class-time block requires a minimum of six paid students to proceed.

When a selected time block does not meet minimum enrollment, the student may:

• Transfer to another available time block
• Transfer to the next available class
• Request a refund according to the published policy

When a class reaches capacity, students may select another available time block or join the waiting list for a future class.

Joining the waiting list does not guarantee enrollment.

Printed Book Shipping

Students should register one week before the class start date to allow time for the printed books to be processed and shipped.

Students who register after the recommended shipping deadline may not receive their printed materials before the first class.

When available, temporary digital lesson materials may be provided until the printed books arrive. Temporary digital access does not include permission to copy, distribute, or share the course materials.

Students are responsible for entering a complete and accurate shipping address during checkout.

3. The selected class has available space.
4. The class block meets minimum enrollment.

Refund and Transfer Summary

• A full refund may be requested within 48 hours of purchase when the course has not started, printed materials have not shipped, and substantial digital materials have not been accessed.
• Cancellations submitted more than seven days before the course begins may receive a refund minus the included $35 enrollment and administrative fee and any nonrecoverable printing, shipping, or payment-processing expenses.
• Tuition is nonrefundable within seven days of the course start date and after the course begins.
• One transfer to a future cohort may be considered when requested before the second live class and when the student meets the published transfer requirements.
• If Nurse Unchained cancels the full course and does not provide a suitable replacement, eligible course tuition will be refunded.
• Complete refund, transfer, attendance, and participation terms apply.

Students must follow the policies and procedures of their CNA program, employer, supervising nurse, testing provider, and applicable state authority.

Is this a CNA certification course?

No. CNA English Ready™ is supplemental English education. Students must separately complete an approved CNA training program and satisfy the examination, registry, certification, and employment requirements that apply in their state.

Is this a general English class?

No. The course focuses specifically on English used in CNA school, skills practice, resident care, nurse reporting, workplace orientation, and CNA employment settings.

Is the course online?

Yes. The classes are taught live online. Students need reliable internet access, a working microphone, speakers or headphones, and the ability to record short voice responses.

Are the printed books included?

Yes. The printed Student Workbook and printed Complete Bilingual CNA Word Bank are included in the $250 course price.

Is the $50 enrollment fee charged separately?

No. The $50 enrollment and administrative fee is already included in the $250 course price.

Is there a final assessment?

Yes. The final course communication assessment is included in the course price.

How many students are in each class?

Each live classroom is limited to 15-20 students.

Is there a minimum number of students?

Yes. Each class-time block requires at least six(6) paid students before it is confirmed.

Can I change my class time after registering?

Class-time changes depend on available space and must be approved in writing.

What happens when my selected class is full?

You may select another available class time or join the waiting list for a future class.

What happens when my class time does not receive enough students?

You may transfer to another available class, transfer to the next cohort, or request a refund according to the published policy.

Will this course guarantee that I pass my CNA examination?

No. The course strengthens CNA-related English communication but cannot guarantee examination passage, certification, school admission, or employment.

Will I receive CNA certification after completing the course?

No. Eligible students may receive a Certificate of Course Completion for this supplemental English course. It is not CNA certification.
